- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance needs.
- Follow local and state driving laws and company policies.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to confirm delivery instructions and update on status.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns during deliveries.
Qualifications for Driver Position
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar driving role.
- Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Good physical condition and the ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Proficient in basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
