To manage the Qatar Aviation Services (QAS) Resource Management Support department within agreed standards and financial targets. To provide leadership and management for the provision of resource management support, RMS configuration and setup, database management and development, Business analysis, Business process testing and migrations. To deliver a consistently high standard of operations in line with respective Customer airline Standard Ground Handling Agreements and Service Level Agreements.

  • Setup efficiently Resource Management System modules to optimize Human and GSE utilization starting from the planning phase to the Real time task allocation phase
  • Ensure that RMS system is continuously updated with the Human resources Law to secure employee’s safety
  • Assist the Manager RMS Planning in the identification and development of strategic plans to improve airside and landside operational performance and position QAS as an innovative, best practice ground handling agent.
  • Create a strategic plan to develop, enhance and maintain system integration to benefit from RMS modules.
  • Establish strategic goals, identify and measure the KPI of the QAS RMS support department
  • Capture and confirm with the heads of departments the business rules that are applied onsite and challenge the status-quo of staff engagement times, resource utilization
  • Define and prepare the scenarios to be considered during Planning, Rostering and real time task allocation to generate better results
  • Improve Planning, Rostering and Real time task allocation procedures
  • Prepare and process the training plan for RMS team to ensure a continuous expertise improvement
  • Prepare an annual plan to update regularly all critical data in the system
  • Regularly evaluate the RMS Support department’s objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
  • Implements best practice resource management through accurate and detailed forecasting, planning and allocation in order to deliver operational excellence
  • Improve the department performance by enhancing employee’s expertise via workshops
  • Prepare the Implementation project plan and identify the resources in charge of RMS implementation for each department
  • Track and maintain regularly the action items and raise risks if any
  • Track the issues raised by the operational department and provide solutions within an agreed SLA
  • Challenge the existing scenarios and strives for continuous improvement
  • Provide effective support in term of Resource management planning to operational department to achieve their objectives
  • Perform other department duties related to his/her position as directed by the Head of the Department

Qualifications

About you

Essential

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of job-related experience

Preferred

  • Experience at an operational department
  • Airside Operations, Ramp Operations and Customer Services
  • Resource Planning Management
