Job Summary:
ASK Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team in Riyadh. The Accountant will be responsible for managing daily financial transactions, maintaining Book keeping, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations, cooperate finance and supporting internal reporting processes. This role is vital to ensuring financial transparency and operational efficiency across our consultancy projects in the event and safety sector.
Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare, examine, and maintain financial records, reports, and statements.
– Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
– Communicate with the auditors to issue the company’s annual financial statements.
– Monitor budgets, assist in financial forecasting, and report variances.
– Ensure compliance with Saudi VAT regulations and other local financial laws.
– Preparation of the Zakat Declaration of the company.
– Process payroll and employee reimbursements in a timely and accurate manner.
– Assist in audits, both internal and external, and coordinate with auditors.
– Maintain financial documentation and ensure proper filing and recordkeeping.
– Provide monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management.
– Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and internal departments regarding financial matters.
– Continuously improve financial procedures and internal controls.
– Experience in preparing payroll records and experience using Mudad, GOSI, and other government platforms related to payroll.
Qualifications and Selection Criteria:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
– Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate or consulting environment.
– Member of SOCPA
– Strong knowledge of Saudi tax regulations and financial compliance.
– Proficient in ERP accounting software.
– High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
– Preferably bilingual, with excellent communication skills in both speaking and writing English and Arabic.
– Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
– Fluency in English (Arabic is a strong advantage).
– Other professional certification (e.g., CPFA, CPA, CMA, CME-2) is a plus
