Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Labor and Delivery Room (LDR) Staff Nurse located in Kuwait. The LDR Staff Nurse will provide direct patient care to expectant mothers including monitoring fetal development, assisting during labor and delivery, and providing postpartum care. The nurse is responsible for administering medications, providing emotional support, documenting care plans, and ensuring a safe and sterile environment during childbirth.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical skills in maternal and fetal health, labor, and delivery
- Proficient in administering medications and maintaining sterile techniques
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients and their families
- Ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment
- Experience in electronic health record (EHR) documentation and care plan management
- Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused demeanor
- good English skills
- Bachelor nursing degree and a valid nursing license
- Previous experience in a labor and delivery setting is highly preferred
